🔧 1. Open the gas valve
Before touching any oven controls, make sure the trailer’s main gas valve is open. Without this step, the oven won’t get gas and won’t light.

🔥 2. Locate the control knob and set it to “PILOT”
Turn the temperature knob to the “PILOT” position and hold it down. This allows gas to flow to the pilot burner.

3. Light the pilot with a long lighter
While holding the knob, use a long lighter or igniter to light the pilot. The ignition point is at the back where the small tube is. If you hear a “click” and see the flame, it’s lit.

This lets the thermocouple heat enough to keep the valve open. If you release it early, the pilot will go out.

Once the pilot is lit and stable, release the knob and turn it to the temperature level you need. Now the oven is ready to use.
